All plants not available at all times. There are a few of us and a bijillion of them...and all manner of obstacles can arise in between. Please email or call if you are planning to visit for a specific plant. Plants are landscape sizes. We do not ship.

Water Garden Plants - Several types of water garden plants should be considered for the pond...oxygenators, surface coverers, and marginals.


Oxygenators: Submerged plants that receive nutrients from the water and help keep water clear. 


Surface Coverers or Floaters: They provide shade and coverage for the water gardens inhabitants.  They are excellent for filtration because their roots absorb nutrients from the water that might otherwise cause algae. Add


Marginals: Adding marginals or bog plants along the edge of the water garden will give your pond a more natural look.

Description: Treated as an annual, water hyacinth is great for rapid surface

Description: Bright lime-green stems are tubular and can reach up to 30" in
height for a terrific vertical accent. This produces the edible tuber known as

Description: This evergreen floater is used to oxygenate the pond and it
helps to combat algae growth in early spring when other floating leaf plants
