Foothills Nursery and Herbs opened in the early '90's with the goal of offering unique plants in a relaxing, enjoyable setting. Exploring the boundaries for new plants and species to learn which will perform well in this pocket of the world or that may be ornamentally worth the effort of special care is an ongoing goal.
Many of the selections are found growing in the front garden, or in other beds throughout the nursery's grounds, which include: water gardens, an herb garden, a small dry stream bed, the "pondless waterfall" and the "perennial" stone wall, in addition to foundation plantings and other beds.
